COMMUNICATION SERVICES PLAN

Communications Services Plan
Embracing the opportunity to tell your powerful story of cultivating ministry and mission to a broader audience
Why you need to communicate effectively online
Recent developments in artificial intelligence serve as a wake-up call for the church, highlighting the immense influence of technology and social media in shaping our culture. Churches, Presbyteries, and event organizers who do not engage online risk being effectively “silent,” particularly to the audiences that most closely resonate with the Presbyterian Church.
By speaking thoughtfully and promptly on issues like multiculturalism, peace and justice, diversity, equality, and disaster relief, the church demonstrates its relevance and witness to the broader culture.
When mid-councils engage communities across multiple platforms in a cost-effective way, they can reclaim the word “church” as a community of friends—welcoming without condition, serving as neighbors, and advocating for the oppressed.
Mid-councils also have a unique opportunity to nurture and support their constituents—elders, deacons, members, and ministers—by sharing timely information and extending care through digital platforms, providing an important dimension of pastoral care.
With the Synod of Sun’s Communication Services Plan, you get cost-effective, customized solutions for your online presence.
-
We are Presbyterian; we speak Reformed language, inclusion, mission, and faithful response. We are able to effectively share what the PC(USA) community values.
-
We understand ministry opportunities, pastoral care, and disaster response are often not on a business hours schedule, therefore, we are on standby when an immediate response is warranted.
-
We value the diversity of local geographies, cultures, and values. Be it urban, rural, multicultural, missional, or unique ministry settings, we tailor messages that reflect your Presbytery.
So, the question is this: How do you want to connect, equip, and empower in more effective ways?
Configuring your Communication Services Plan
The Synod Communication Services Plan (CSP) team will meet with you via video to work directly with your assigned committee or representative from your mid-council or entity to develop a formal Communications Plan. If the CSP is contracted to implement the plan, the team will hold regular meetings to review progress and make adjustments as needed. The plan may include any of the following services individually or bundled together at an additional discounted rate.
