The Chaplain will lead the spiritual life of the school, including chapel services, prayer gatherings, and faith-based programming, while providing pastoral care and guidance to students, faculty, and staff. This is a residential position, requiring the Chaplain to live on campus and play an active role in student and residential life, including mentoring students, supporting weekend activities, and collaborating closely with the residential and student life teams.

St. Thomas Presbyterian Church in Houston seeks a full-time solo pastor with at least two years of experience to lead a warm, Christ-centered congregation of about 120 members committed to welcoming all, serving neighbors, and growing in faith. The church is deeply engaged in community ministry, hosting programs such as a daycare for low-income families, supervised family visits, a food bank, Meals on Wheels distribution, Red Cross emergency services, and partnerships like The Outreach Center of West Houston. The pastor will provide spiritual leadership through preaching, pastoral care, staff supervision, and session moderation while supporting the church’s active ministries and community presence.
